The University Honors Winners and Participants in Student Activities for the Academic Year 1445

The Acting President of King Khalid University, Professor Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, attended a ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs on Thursday to honor the winners and participants in student activities for the academic year 1445, as well as to crown the winning student clubs.

In detail, the Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Misfer Al-Qahtani, appreciated the efforts made in this regard, highlighting the talents, abilities, and skills of the university's students, as well as the academic, cultural, and innovative achievements they have made at local, regional, and international levels.

The event began with an introductory film about the Deanship of Student Affairs, showcasing the main services offered by the deanship. This was followed by a film that presented the significant achievements of the university's students, supported by the deanship, both locally and internationally, including external participations sponsored by the deanship. Following this, a film was shown that introduced the student clubs and the criteria used to evaluate and select the winning clubs.

During the ceremony, the Acting President, Professor Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam, honored the university entities that contributed to the success of the student activities organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. These entities included the Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, the Deanship of E-Services, the General Directorate of Institutional Communication, the General Directorate of Human Resources, the General Directorate of Investment, the General Directorate of Facilities, Afaaq newspaper, the Central Library, the University Medical City, the Maintenance and Operations Department, the Transportation Department, the Logistics Department, the Nutrition Department, the Safety and Occupational Health Department, and the University Security Department.

Dr. Dajam also honored graduates who contributed creative ideas to develop the Alumni Association platform. Additionally, supervisors of both the college and central clubs, as well as the male and female leaders of these clubs, were recognized, with commemorative photos taken.

During the ceremony, awards were presented for the best club supervisors. Dr. Raed Abdullah Al-Qahtani from the College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait won Best Club Supervisor for the male students’ division, Ms. Reem Ahmed Al-Raqe’ from the College of Sciences won Best Club Supervisor for the female students’ division, and Dr. Areej Al-Ansari from the Voluntary Work Club won Best Central Club Supervisor.

The ceremony also honored the top-ranked college and central clubs. In the central clubs, the Voluntary Work Club secured first place, while the E-Sports Club came in second. Among the female student clubs, the Applied College Club in Muhail Asir took first place and was awarded the "Club Crown" banner, the Home Economics Club secured second place, and the College of Dentistry Club took third place. For the male student clubs, the College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait won first place and the "Club Crown" banner, followed by the College of Science in second place, and the College of Medicine in third place.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, commemorative photos were taken with the organizing committees, in the presence of the Acting President and the leadership of the Deanship of Student Affairs.
