Nursing College Club in Mahayel Organizes “Calm Mind for Better Mental Health” Event in Conjunction with World Mental Health Day

The Nursing College Club in Mahayel, in collaboration with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Section) and the Applied College in Mahayel (Female Section), organized an event titled “Calm Mind for Better Mental Health” on Thursday, October 10, in conjunction with World Mental Health Day. The event focused on the impact of stress and academic pressure on mental and physical health, aiming to raise awareness among students about the importance of managing stress in healthy ways.

The event featured a series of practical and educational activities, including deep breathing and stretching exercises as effective methods to reduce stress and restore mental and physical balance. Additionally, a lecture was given on time management strategies, highlighting how proper planning can help reduce stress and improve academic performance.

Informative brochures were distributed, offering tips on maintaining mental health and emphasizing the importance of combining healthy habits with balanced nutrition. Healthy refreshments were also provided to raise awareness of the connection between good nutrition and improved mental and physical well-being. The event was well-received by attendees and successfully enhanced students’ understanding of the importance of prioritizing mental health in their academic and personal lives.
