College of Applied Medical Sciences Organizes Breast Cancer Awareness Event in Collaboration with Educational and Technical Affairs

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the College of Applied Medical Sciences, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Educational Services and Technical Affairs, held a Breast Cancer Awareness event. Organized by members and students of the Radiology Department, the event included distributing informative brochures and displaying educational videos on iPads, emphasizing the importance of early breast cancer detection and its role in controlling the disease. The event also included demonstrations of self-examination techniques at home and the best times for doing so. Additionally, breast examinations were conducted at the college clinic for interested individuals by eighth-level students under the supervision of department faculty, with referrals for further testing provided to those with suspected findings.
