The Applied College Club in Tanomah, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a community initiative called “Bank of Good Deeds” on Tuesday, 12/4/1446 AH. The initiative involved a visit to Tanomah General Hospital to check on the hospitalized patients.

The main goal of the initiative was to bring joy and happiness to the patients and to emphasize the spirit of solidarity and unity within the community. This visit was an opportunity to highlight the importance of humanitarian work and to strengthen social bonds.

The visit was honored by the presence of Mr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Yahya Al-Shahri, Executive Director of the College, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Sawy Al-Safi, Head of the Health and Basic Sciences Unit. The team was warmly received by hospital staff, led by Mr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Shahri and Mr. Saeed Al-Qahtani, who expressed their gratitude for the initiative and its positive impact on the patients.

A large number of students participated in the initiative, headed by the student activity leader, Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani. During the visit, gifts including Qur’ans, flowers, and sweets were distributed to the patients, reflecting the humanitarian spirit and solidarity with those in need.

The College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion Club, in collaboration with the Student Activities Agency of the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized two scientific meetings on Monday, 11/4/1446, as part of the Usuli Maker Program.

The guest of the first meeting was Dr. Jibril Al-Busaili, a member of the Senior Scholars Authority and the Mufti of the Asir region. In his talk, he addressed the importance of the science of Usul al-Fiqh (the principles of Islamic jurisprudence) for Sharia students, emphasizing the significant role this science plays in understanding Islamic texts and their applications.

The guest of the second meeting was Dr. Saeed Al-Kurdum, a faculty member in the Department of Fiqh and Its Principles, who delivered a lecture titled “The Implications of Words.” In his talk, he discussed the definition of implications, their importance, as well as their categories and various uses by scholars of Usul al-Fiqh.

Both meetings witnessed a large attendance of college students and faculty members, held in the college auditorium, reflecting the students’ eagerness to benefit from the distinguished scientific expertise presented.

On Monday, 11/4/1446 AH, the Applied College Club in Sarat Abidah held a training program titled “Creating a Digital Marketing Plan” under the patronage of the college’s CEO, Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Sahli.

The program was presented by Dr. Mujahid Issam Mohammed Ahmed, who explained how to create a successful digital marketing plan and introduced the essential components of such plans. The session focused on outlining the steps required to develop an effective marketing strategy, addressing challenges that digital marketing plans often face. It also emphasized the importance of customer feedback in refining strategies and highlighted the significance of investing in high-quality content.

Dr. Mujahid also shared practical examples of marketing plans, illustrating how to implement these strategies effectively in the real world to achieve success in digital marketing.

At the conclusion of the program, Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Sahli honored Dr. Mujahid Issam Mohammed in recognition of his efforts in delivering the program and enriching the attendees’ knowledge of digital marketing.

Health Event on Diabetes Organized by the Nursing College Club in Mahayel Asir in Collaboration with the Applied Medical Sciences College Club

The Nursing College Club in Mahayel Asir, in partnership with the Applied Medical Sciences College Club and in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a health event titled “Diabetes: Causes, Prevention, and Treatment” on Monday, 11/4/1446 AH.

The event was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Bashtawi, who welcomed the attendees, including faculty members, administrators, and students. Following the opening, Professor Dr. Abdelmonem Bateiha delivered a distinguished lecture discussing diabetes in detail, including its various types, causes, and preventive measures. He also provided valuable advice on how to manage and treat this chronic disease, emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle that incorporates balanced nutrition and regular physical activity.

Dr. Bateiha further highlighted Saudi Arabia’s efforts to curb the increasing rates of diabetes and encouraged everyone to prioritize their health by conducting regular blood sugar tests and learning how to live with diabetes if diagnosed.

At the end of the lecture, Dr. Bateiha answered questions from the audience, fostering an interactive atmosphere. The event concluded with refreshments being served, promoting further engagement among the attendees

King Khalid University witnessed an exciting match on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in the quarterfinals of the volleyball league, where the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion team faced off against the College of Medicine team.

From the start of the match, the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion demonstrated a strong performance, managing to dominate the game’s proceedings with their high technical skills and well-thought-out tactics. Despite the College of Medicine’s attempts to keep pace, the Sharia team successfully secured a clear victory with a score of 2-0, thus ensuring their advancement to the semifinals.

This victory is an important step toward competing for the championship title and reflects the team’s ongoing efforts and high commitment. As they move on to the semifinals, fans eagerly await the next match, hoping for the team to continue the outstanding performance it has shown throughout the tournament.
