The Engineering College Club organized a field visit to Al-Raif Aluminum and Glass Factory on 25/5/1446 AH, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The visit offered students an opportunity to explore industrial processes, including a tour of production lines and a discussion with the factory’s engineers on key challenges and opportunities in the industry.

The Medical Innovation Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Orthopedic Surgery Team, organized the “Basic Radiology Program” on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Abha Private Theater. The event featured lectures by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dosari on radiology basics and chest X-ray interpretation, and Dr. Turki Al-Saqr on orthopedic X-ray analysis. It concluded with an interactive quiz, awarding prizes to the top participants, amidst remarkable engagement and participation.

The Applied College Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an event titled “Vision for the Future.” The event included a visit by club members to the Design Thinking Center at King Khalid University in Al-Fara’a, where they attended a workshop on “Design Thinking.” The workshop emphasized the importance of design thinking in shaping students’ academic, personal, and skill-based futures. The visit also included a tour of the center’s facilities and an overview of its resources.

The College of Science Club, for both male and female students, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Cultural Forum” on Sunday, November 24, at 10:00 AM, in the Exhibition and Conference Center at King Khalid University. The forum aimed to highlight cross-cultural communication, showcasing prominent scientists and cultures from various countries. It also featured exhibitions of traditional clothing, cuisines, heritage tools, and famous artistic items from around the world.

The Applied College Club in Dhahran Al-Janoub, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the “Language of a Successful Leader” program on Thursday, November 21, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Room B/2/14. The program began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a presentation by Dr. Fatima Misbah and student Wijdan Salem. It introduced the concept and importance of leadership, focusing on leadership styles, theories, and sources of power in administrative leadership.

The event was supervised and coordinated by Prof. Mohammed Bawahab, Professor of Bariatric Surgery, Laparoscopy, and Gastroenterology, aiming to train female students on the basics of laparoscopy and enhance their knowledge in this specialized medical field.

The Engineering Club (Female Section), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an environmental exhibition titled “Habitat Restoration” on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mujan Park. The exhibition aimed to highlight projects focused on restoring ecological balance and preserving the natural environment through innovation and technology, emphasizing the engineer’s role in developing creative solutions to environmental challenges.

The Engineering Club (Female Section), in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized an exhibition titled “Robots in Hazardous Areas” on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The exhibition showcased the advancements in robotics technology and their innovative role in addressing challenges in hazardous environments, while highlighting some student projects focused on designing robots for these specific areas. The event emphasized that robots are not merely tools but reliable partners in tackling the toughest conditions, contributing to a safer and smarter future.

The Applied College Club in Dhahran Al-Janoub, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, concluded its first semester programs for the academic year 1446 AH by organizing the event “My Skill in Creating Successful Marketing” on Tuesday, November 26. The program began by introducing the concept of marketing, its types, and its fundamental components, such as understanding customers, product development, promotion, and distribution. It also highlighted the importance of marketing in building relationships, achieving profitability, and ensuring competitive excellence, while addressing essential marketing skills and strategies to meet consumer needs.

The College of Dentistry Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a lecture titled “Dentist and Soft Skills for Professional and Personal Success” on Sunday, November 24, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at the College of Dentistry Theater in Al-Fara’a. The lecture was attended by approximately 70 students and several faculty members. Delivered by Dr. Rayan bin Duhaim, Assistant Professor at King Khalid University, the lecture aimed to introduce students to the essential basics of dentistry, focusing on acquiring the soft skills necessary for achieving professional and personal success.
