The Creativity and Thinking Club at King Khalid University, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized the Creativity Marathon on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. The event aimed to enhance creative and critical thinking skills through an engaging and competitive experience. Participants navigated a series of mental and physical challenges, including puzzles, word-arranging tasks, obstacle activities, scooter challenges, and a final “treasure box” activity decorated with helium balloons—reflecting strong teamwork and enthusiasm. The marathon’s concept was supported by research emphasizing the role of play in boosting creativity, including the study “Play Catalyzes Human Creativity” by the National Institute for Play, which highlights the impact of interactive activities on creative thinking.
