The Student Fund works on developing resources to achieve financial stability for financially needy students and support student activities and services.
The Student Fund is overseen by a board of directors chaired by the Deanship of Student Affairs, and all financial transactions are presented to it.
This board is responsible for outlining the general plan, supervising all financial and administrative aspects, and making necessary decisions to achieve the fund's social and cultural objectives, particularly:
- Preparing the annual budget and its final account for approval by the University Director
- Accepting grants, donations, and endowments offered to the fund
- Approving cooperative projects and other means to develop the fund's resources
- Reviewing regular reports on the fund's activities and operations to assess its objectives' fulfillment, approving appropriate solutions to difficulties and problems, and studying all matters presented by the chairman
Objectives of the Fund
- Providing financial assistance and social care to resolve financial issues faced by male and female university students that hinder their ability to continue their studies, through grants and aid
- Contributing to the establishment and implementation of investment projects that benefit the Student Fund
- Supporting various extracurricular student activities overseen by the deanship
